About
I'm Daniel Crossan — a London-based illustrator, collector, and lifelong culture obsessive with a deep appreciation for things that are made well and deserve to find the right hands.
For the past three years I've been buying and reselling alongside my illustration practice and the general chaos of raising kids in London. What started as a way of selling surplus collectibles during Covid became something I'm genuinely good at.
The Cloakroom grew from an existing creative relationship — a collaborator and fellow Londoner who'd given away some of my art prints as part of a giveaway was relocating to Australia and needed her wardrobe cleared quickly and quietly. Helping her through that process made me realise there was a real gap for something more discreet and more human than anything that existed.
